I've deduced that you die when the brain/spine grows too big. Is there a way to prevent this from happening? I'm guessing I have to get back to the tent before it gets dark. If this is the case, then this is REALLY annoying. Would be very boring and time consuming to do all that back tracking....

I saw in a walkthrough video that I should arrive soon to get Cthugha's glyph. But after the last save point before I continue to going down and there's not the Cthugha's glyph room, as if it wasn't spawned. Instead I'm blocked and have to go back to the save point if I don't want to go mad ingame. I'm wondering if this is a bug and I should restart from scratch? Or have I missed something which should open the passage? If I'm looking to this walkthrough I mentioned, I believe it is a bug, and a game break...

I'm playing on a desktop computer (Windows 11) with a keyboard (from Logitech). Very basic computer equipment, Early in the game just after leaving the tent I see an instruction to "crouch" and a short time later an instruction to "stand up." I do not see the crouch symbol on my keyboard and therefore do crouch. Is there an alternate keyboard symbol to "crouch" or am I just not recognizing crouch symbol?...
