It's been a month or so since last time demo has been available, this time, we will bring major upgrade demo version to the public with various improved elements ready for you to explore!

---- Major Updates ----

- Extended room width by 1/3 from 360 to 480 pix, i.e. window ratio from 360*640 to 480*640 for better experience (more room for maneuver).
- All enemies that can deal collision damage now coloured in orange in order to be visually outstanding, yes, orange stuff is dangerous in most cases.
- Reduce all item prices in store.
- Faster enemy spawn speed for better experience.
- Reduce time of single wave from ~120 to 80s.
- Each wave will see more enemies to spawn than previous version.
- From now, player setting in the menu (e.g. sound volume, language, TATE etc.) will now be saved as a local .txt file before exit.
(note: player settting will be saved in a file called "gamesetting.txt" in game's root location, this method requires further testing so if you encounter any bug please send it to the dev anyway you can.)
- Fixed a common bug that will cause game shut down unpredictably after loadig the splash screen.

- Added black-and-white blender after player death.
- Added new transit gate asset.
- Added names and profession description of characters, also rationalized submarine commander's costume.
- Fixed a bug that will cause game not to abort while clicking abort button multi times.
- New enemy death effect - added debris.
- Store system upgrade with better UI layout.
- Iceburgs do not drop diamonds any more as they are considered as a kind of obstacles.
- Various localization updates.
- Low hp effect - when player hp less than 2, the screen will draw
- Fixed a bug that may cause multi players boats exist at the same time.
- Fixed a bug that causes sound switch malfunction at in-game pause menu.

Hi

Hopeless Sea's demo has now been played by a bunch of dedicated players and many of them gave us invaluable feedback towards bugs and gameplay suggestion. Thank you all for doing that!

Now, we found it is time for us to settle down and fix them. We have set the demo to invisible to new players, so if you have already added to your inventory, don't worry you can still access if you like.

Next time we want to bring some big changes to the game play, as well as usual bug fixes. Wanting this game to be more "modern shmup", meaning more powerful player, powerful enemy, fast-paced game, bullet hell and simplified player upgrade route.

With all this being done with certainly take us a bit, but we shall see you in the next patch note.
