So I read that not only are units in shops somewhat random, but so are items/scrolls. Pretty early on, I found the Well of Mana belt item, that regens a bit of mana per turn, which has been an awesome help, especially with even 1 point in Concentration giving me 5 mana back per turn. Did I stumble on to something good, or do much better items start to show up at some point? Is there a chance that due to the randomness, I could potentially miss out on some "best in slot" items? I remember playing this a long time ago. I cleared the game on hard and insane. One time as warrior, the other as mage. I'm now playing paladin on hard, but I'm a bit disappointed. It went very well, up until the dragon maze. I barely have any money, and every fight is overpowering or impossible. Even with maxed out units. When should I start taking leadership instead of stats for level up? I'm currently lvl 9 and Leadership is about 500 now when leveling up.

In the great forest, a ghost squad near the castle is stuck in textures and does not react to me in any way and I cannot attack it, and the quest to lift the siege cannot be completed due to the fact that I cannot defeat this squad, what should I do?
