If the Beta version save file is accidentally entered into the normal version, it will cause the loss of cognition points and obtain an abnormally large number of talent points.
Now, re-entering the Beta version and unlocking cognition will restore the lost cognition points.

We know you are waiting the Update, about that we decided to make it as Beta before bringing it to the Official version and we will release the Beta version before each Major Update. You can choose to enter the Official or Beta version when the game is opened.

The Beta will have the content of the Major Update, but will inevitably have bugs and other unstable factors. Once the Beta version has stabilized, we will release the content into the Official version.

Note: Once you have opened your archive in Beta, we cannot ensure that your archive will still work smoothly in the old version.


Added Cognitive System:

After level 50, you will not gain Talent Points for each upgrade, but you will gain Cognitive Points. Hunters can use Cognizance Points to discover the potential value of things, which will unlock some new game content, including new core talents, new game features and more.

Cognitions currently available include: Statue, Little One, Merchant, Shepherd, Doctor, Hunter and Remaints. Other Cognitions will be patched in subsequent updates.

Remaints Adjustment:

Added a new guide for Remaints.
Remaints will now be picked up and used at the Craftsman's place.
The number of times a Remaints can be used will be stored and stacked.

Settlement screen now uses Quickly Confirm (default is Enter)
Fixed the display error of the number of Abyssal Stars consumed sometimes.
Fixed Dummy's resistance display being incomplete

This is the first week without an update for Dark Hunting Ground, partly due to the holidays and partly due to the preparations being made for the first Major Update - Version 1.3.0.0, The Cognition System.

With the capping of the Cognition System, the Hunter level cap will be lifted and existing overflow experience will be converted into levels. after level 50, you will not gain Talent Points for each upgrade, but you will gain Cognition System. Hunters can use Cognition Points to discover the potential value of things as a way to unlock some new game content, including new core talents, new game features and more.

The Cognition System is expected to go live next week or the week after, and will continue to be augmented with future major updates, including a New Pathway, The Guardian.

New Slate - Magma
When an amplified skill hits an enemy, 3 magma balls will burst out, hit enemies in range and deal Fire Damage equals to 1000% of the supported skill's Power
Magma can be triggered once every 0.5 second
Magma will be unlocked in White Skull Difficulty Level 2

New Relic - Bloom
Unique: 400% chance to fire an additional projectile
Unique: Your projectile will be fired in a circle
Bloom will be unlocked in White Skull Difficulty Level 3

New Hunting Ground Core - Abyss Hunter
The drop rate of Abyss Star is increased by 25%
Abyss Hunter will be unlocked in Purple Skull Difficulty Level 1

New Hunting Ground Core - Prolonged Battle
Resting time after killing an elite is decreased by 50%
Prolonged Battle will be unlocked at Purple Skull Difficulty 1

Hunting Core - Reward Upgrade changed to unlock at Orange Skull Difficulty 1 (previously Purple Skull Difficulty 1)
Fixed the issue where the trigger frequency described for Slate - Lightning Strike did not match the actual frequency (described as once per second, but actually once every 0.5 seconds)

Adjustment of over time damage mechanism:
The basic interval of over time damage is now unified to 0.5 seconds
Aggravate: Over time damage will now deal 10% more damage after each it make damage , up to 10 times

Ignite mechanism adjustment:
Ignite now causes fire continuous damage of 70%(old is 30%) of the base fire damage per second, which lasts for 3 seconds.

Added Relic affixes: over time damage aggravation ratio, over time damage effect speed
Added Slate affixes: over time damage aggravation ratio, over time damage effect speed

Update description:
In the past, Ignite could enjoy twice damage increase/more bonuses, one for the damage caused by Ignite and one for the damage caused by Ignite itself, which made the damage of Ignite reach a very out-of-control state, making other non-Ignite builds completely unmatched.
After this update, Ignite will only enjoy one damage bonus, and as compensation, continuous damage has also ushered in a dedicated aggravation mechanism. This may improve the current awkward positioning of over time damage.
There will be more skills, amplification slates, relics, etc. related to over time damage in the future.
