I'd strongly recommend to firstly play mordor b4 war , lore based especially.
The story , the gameplay , awhhh... awesome !!

Pretty damn fun if you play it as a sandbox orc murder simulator. Having a really good time not focusing on the story first and doing sidequests and battles first, which I think should be the main way to play the game.

The gameplay does feel old. It got better when I unlocked the critical hits for timing my follow up attacks. It was less button mashing after that.

Don't waste your time trying to eliminate all the captains, I don't think there is an achievement for it and a new captain just takes their place.

I attempted to play this when the game came out but it didn't hold my attention. After watching the new series on Amazon Prime I understand more of what is going on. So there is great lore for Lord of the Rings fans.
