runs are lost randomly and/or because of a single mistake
late floors are just completely filled with insta kill traps

chilling in jungle? off-screen tribal man shoots his boomerang and chains three hits on you
miss a ledge in ice caves? you fall to your death
sometimes you just get unlucky and a tiki trap surrounds the exit. if this happens and you can't bomb the exit YOU ARE SCREWED

i can't imagine failing a 30 minute run because of ONE MISTAKE or even NO MISTAKE AT ALL
this game is unplayable without shortcuts, and with them, runs are meaningless
health might as well be nonexistant cause late floors just kill you instantly
patience is not rewarded, it is punished.
i remember giving up on this game a couple years ago, and man i shouldn't have picked this back up

not fun do not buy
can't imagine the second game is any different

I like it, in a sort of stockholm syndrome kinda way.
