Mini Patch Notes for Standable v2.1.1!

v2.1.1 has only a few bug fixes and updates, but very important nonetheless!

Patch Notes below:

If a controller dies or you are unable to use two controllers for whatever reasons Standable calibration will still work as intended with only one controller connected (t-pose, alignment options, etc).

Note: Two controllers must be connected at the beginning of each session, but after initial connection you are free to turn one of the controllers off.

There have been multiple reports of Standable triggering Anti-Virus programs (specifically McAfee). These triggers have been mitigated and Standable now no longer falsely triggers Anti-Virus Programs (or at least not the most popular ones. There will be edge cases where it still could).

- Fixed: Standable no longer spams the Steam Console when an HMD is not detected.

We've noticed there's a lot of people who could use some help getting Standable working, or have questions about the program!

As a solo developer I am unable to help every single person individually, so if we aren't able to get you help directly, it's not personal. Despite this, I have a few ways you can get the help you need!


Standable Docs (https://standablevr.com) is the new hub for all things Standable. Almost any question about Standable can be answered here, and we did our best to make it as user friendly as possible (let us know how we can improve it!)

I have a few volunteer (and one paid) Official Tech Support in the Standable Discord[discord.gg] that can assist. Though we ask that you thoroughly look through the Standable Docs BEFORE creating a ticket on the discord as 95% of issues are extremely common and have a simple fix/answer.




With limited people to assist in helping users with their issues, we need to optimize how we manage support tickets. Steam's Community Hub is great for community posts but we prefer to use Discord due to our familiarity with the platform and we believe it helps us get answers to you faster.
