Horror greatness. For fans of gritty, gory, grimy, grindhouse slashers, Rewind or Die is a short but fully satisfying experience.

The PS1 graphics with VHS filter and effects create the perfect visual tone. My guess is that none of the voice actors in Rewind or Die act for a living, and yet it's perfect. The overall raw and unpolished presentation reinforces that this game, just like TCM or Maniac, is so outside the mainstream that there are no rules about what kind of sick stuff you may be in for.

Two things I would have liked some polish with: native controller support and a slight boost to the volume.

After finishing it, I highly recommend replaying the last chapter via chapter select and using a guide to get the secret ending.
