So I’ve been playing this game for a little bit and there is a lot good with it, but the experience with the map and exploration has been negative for me. The fact that the map doesn’t update except for dots until you find the map room ends up making me loop around in frustrating path finding often ending up backtracking accidentally. Played the game on release and I have to say the latest version is extremely satisfactory. I restarted my playthrough and loved the improvements : - 2 new bosses. Being greeted by a door bot with a gigantic bucket wheel excavator was a bit overkill. :P The pop-up critter was super easy and nicely animated. - This time, I have been able to collect all the power-ups thanks to the automated markings on the map. - A good ending !
