I wanted to love this game. I've had it on my wish list for awhile and I was looking forward to this release. However, in the current state it's in, I can't recommend it to others. It should be tagged as an early release game. The story apparently won't be completed until 2026, which I didn't realize until it was too late.
There are great things about this game so far. The art is beautiful, the concept of sailing is interesting and there are some NPCs that I look forward to getting to know more.
But it's not a completed game right now. The combat is clunky and rats will leave you dead in seconds. There are very few tutorials. I wasn't even sure how to attack a ship at first, and had to just keep clicking buttons until something worked. I think in a year or two, this will be a great game. But it's bare bones at the moment, and I wish I refunded it before I played for two hours.

I have waited for this game since last year.
Unfortunately the game is too bare at the moment.
It felt empty when I started playing so I went and watched some gameplay videos.
Then read some more of the reviews.
Though I refunded it now, if the game does become better in the future, I will gladly purchase it at full price.

It just needed more time... I did try to explain this to the dev when I tested out the game, I was open and honest in saying It feels bare, empty, unpolished, unfinished and lifeless... but sadly they didn't take my feedback on board. I don't understand the whole "rush" aspect with devs. Just rushing to put out a game that is clearly not a finished full version. It needs so much more. Another year or 2 of development and this could have been a really promising fun game!
