I am a 75 year old disabled man with not much to do. I came across this game by chance and gave it a try. The 11 hours is a moment. One thing I've enjoyed is being able to amble along making mistakes and finding neat ways to do things without any distracting input. I'm building my first little village following logical steps in regard to gov't, food, transport, population, industry, the whole nine yards, but keeping it in line with historical accuracy. I don't think I need speak further as to whether or not I enjoy and recommend this game.

Positives:
- Beautiful game.
- You can change seasons.
- Daylight Cycle. Edit time of day and angle of the sun and moon.
- Modify the landscape and have many different options in customizing houses, lights, decorations, castles. You have complete control over placement and landscape. Houses and buildings decoratively interact with each other. Pathways.
- Lighting is miraculous.
- Automatically saves all designs.

Negatives:
- Cannot make Hobbit homes.
- Tiny Glade has no options for medium glade, large glade, or huge glade, as you are stuck on a little square of land, albeit it is beautiful, but you cannot expand much, (and yes I know it's called Tiny Glade).
- You cannot build decorations, you have to spend time finding them and getting the right ones and copy and pasting them over and over again.
- There are sheep but you cannot put them in pens as they have umbrellas and float out, which is cute, but annoying, an option would be nice.
- The places you make are beautiful but dead when it comes to liveliness (lighting is the only reason it feels less lonely overall), as there is nobody, you are all alone.
- Not many options for customizing trees, flowers, and types of ponds. C
- Cannot change colors of place-able decorations.
- Costs fifteen dollars.
- Only Sheep (birds and butterflies too but they don't interact much.)
- No interior mode what so ever.

Conclusion: Overall decent game that is beautiful and has much customization in housing and building but decorations are time-consuming to employ, tiny glade is too tiny, with no other options for making it bigger (For the last time, yes I know it is called Tiny Glade). For the price you are paying, it is not worth fifteen dollars. I consider its real value as eight dollars for all the negatives. Needs more work. Once negatives are fulfilled, I could consider this game fifteen dollars in value. Maybe even twenty dollars. However, with all that said. I neither recommend nor not recommend this game. Yes, the post does say negative, however, that is because I lean negatively than positively, there is no neutral option sadly. It's up to you whether this game would fulfill that fifteen dollar value for you.

I like this game because I can easily and quickly design castles or houses and use them in other art forms such as paintings or Minecraft.

need mac version

This game is not my typical game. But after raging and getting irritated at every other game i play, i decided i needed a chill, zen game. This is adorable. The simplicity and ease of the game lends you to think it will be low res and choppy but no, it is gorgeous and seamless. I've never seen a game as smooth and seamless with its world generation on the fly as you do things. It is adorable and relaxing and creative and i give it all the thumbs up.

So enjoyable! I love the chill vibes with no objectives to complete. Take as little or as long as you like to complete your build. No timers, no combat, 100% relaxing. The artwork is stunning and I love that you can change the seasons & chose day or night. Would like to see more options and colors available.

Cozy and Relaxing

It is fine if you have the imagination for it. I just don't. Maybe when I was a kid I would have loved this game but I am nearly 40 and my brain is wiped out. Even though I refunded it, I would still recommend it since its original. I would say if you are on the fence, wait for a sale. I think maybe $7-10 is a fair price, if they add a bunch more content to create even more cool things then $10-15 for sure.

Is very soothing and helps me imagine what my d&d characters would live in/stumble across. PLUS THERE'S SHEEPY BAABAAS AND DUCKS. What could be better than that?
