9/10 (Long story short) Amanda The Adventurer is a horror puzzle game utilizing escape room elements with a story that keeps you engrossed in your playtime.

My takeaway: Amanda The Adventurer is not the typical game I’d play but I’m so happy I did because it drew me in like no other smaller gaming communities have done previously. I encountered no bugs and the blocky texture and usage of lighting, music, colors in the game further instilled the eerie feeling of the story. The game is suspenseful and full of hidden mysteries that often leaves you with more questions than answers- the theories alone can send someone down a spiral of lore you wouldn’t expect for its short playtime. It took me a little over two hours to complete the game with full achievements.

That being said- the game is short. Very short. With so much hype surrounding the title I thought the runtime would be a lot longer and despite having a great time playing I truly thought there would be more; especially considering I think I’ve watched media surrounding the game far longer than I actually played. That coupled with the horror aspect not hitting home for me and the puzzles often being too easy or way too difficult with no direction is what’s stopping this title from achieving a perfect 10.

• Puzzles could be reworked. Some are insanely easy; others near impossible without help.
  
• Not as scary as I’d hoped.

I need an Amanda redemption arc after the animal abuse I witnessed.

I beat it and its a great game.

This game took me about 3 hours to get all the achievements. Is super fun I started playing the second game can't wait to beat the second game.

The puzzles are fun but I would recommend a way to take notes as some of the puzzle need information from vary different parts of the game.
