I am noticing that graphics settings don't save, and changing certain display modes (FIFO, Immediate, Mailbox) to Immediate crashes the game, log says something along the lines that it lost the GPU device. Also in the logs it seems to fail to load the settings file, so I am assuming that is an issue with permissions. I would like to suggest to put timestamps preceding log information in the file, because at the moment, it just dumps all the logging into one file and doesn't clobber on each launch of the ga...

I'm curious what scores you're able to achieve after defeating the Tentacle Boss. If you missed the in-game tip, the score is basically calculated by enemies defeated divided by time. So the faster you complete the waves the higher the score will be. I think Steam has a built-in leader-board I could add in my game code, is this something people care about that I should add?...

This has been a surprising find and has lots of potential! Am waiting for your game's release... I do hope we get different maps, more enemy types and weapons to play with! That said, a few minor gripes: Autofire feels like a downgrade - since your guns would have been highly upgraded by then, you often want to use them more than just defensively - perhaps change it to add an extra single cannon (equivalent to base + 1 firing speed upgrade?) while still leaving the main weapon in the player's control ...
