"An error was encountered while processing your request: This item is currently unavailable in your region" Why? Luckily I already have this game and just wanted to buy and gift it to my kid. Why is it not available in Germany anymore?

Is it possible to change the resolution beyond the options the game actually gives you? as someone who is on dual monitor, I basicly have to play it in windowed (which makes f.ex the map very hard to actually read sadly) So ive been looking for a way to expand the resolution, say from 800x600 to 1600x1200, which would make everything much easier windowed-wise. the steam launch options doesnt seem to work with this game either which i find unfortunate...

I managed to find my old boxed copy of Starscape, so I scanned the box art and used it to create some custom assets to better display it with the new Steam Library layout. Anyone tried this on Steam Deck? I'm trying to decide if I'm best to try and get my old version of the game verified again (although the website doesn't seem to be even trying to process my login?), or just re-buy it here.
