I see there are updated graphics and new tables. All said and done, is it worth buying if I already have the original Balls of Steel?

what is the difference between this version and the 3dr anthology version

i have the 3d realms anthology version of balls of steel from many years ago but not this one yet. anyone know the difference? can this run in native windows or is it just ran thru a dosbox package like the 3dr version?
