Well I think the game is drastically over rated at 92/100
and when you see the first basic achievement of basically do the first task is only done by 20% of the player base and most of the reviews are non enlish chinese I question the legitimacy of the score (edit it was when I first looked, its 70% of the players have now... which is probably the ones who got the game after the initial questionable ones)

Overall and for meta score I have to give this a NO

If you like EA games and this genre it might be worth a try, but the price to value also isn't there.

That said

Pros - Villager workers mining, fishing, and farming work right
Cons - Villagers for smithing, herbs, random stuff, and other not so much

Pros - Building is fairly easy
Cons - Building is very basic, and its kinda poorly done with putting things down, and removing things that have been placed is very difficult

Pros - By getting villagers you are quickly rich and can exploit their labour for stuff
Cons - Not much really great to buy


Character
Pros - Lots of levelup things to get
Cons - most of them are +1 to effect (aka +1 damage or +1 mining) and 5/10 have a different effect but its often mediocre (like 5 archery is craft twice as many arrows)

Combat
Cons - yes no pros, combat is poor at best. You can basically melee only in a horizontal line to your character you won't hit outside of that. Weapons and armour break absurdly fast, and something broken is destroyed. Bring 4-8 weapons to clear the 'dungeons' in the game. Enemies have mediocre hitboxes to be tagged, and often have utterly broken hitboxes for them hitting you (orcs with hammers can hit you four lengths from their attack animations, and they aren't the only ones to do so). Healing is pretty easy to do with potions thrown at you from dungeons, and with poke step back while poking, poke again step back again you can get 3-4 hits in between enemy swings, then use the nearly broken dodge to avoid their attacks (sometimes). Some enemies are invulnerable at times forcing a save/restart

Crafting -
Pros - Lots of things to craft
Cons - Lots of materials needed early makes it a struggle, and later you have a plethora of basic things but now need rare stuff which keeps you in the struggle. Like I said above things break FAST and then are utterly destroyed. Also inconsistent value on things makes crafting for money kind of pointless... plus money is quickly pointless.

"Summons" - monsters / townsfolk you summon at the goddess statue
Pros - A fair bit of selection, villagers working in town are useful
Cons - Villagers bug out and mass group up in one building. For combat having 'summons' with you is detrimental, even at max level summons do 1/10th of your damage IF they hit and die in 1-2 shots from a trash mob.
Super Cons - Combat summons interfer with your mouse making it so you OFTEN go on their prompt instead of attacking an enemy or dodging. Plus they will aggro everything around which with the low damage you can do and low health / armour you have makes things a slugfest.


Overall
Cons
-Inventory management is mid - with many games having normal silver gold variants and smaller inventory spots its easy for things to just flood out your ability to hold anything
-Bugs are plentiful, its EA so thats ok
-Music frequently bugs restarting the loop every half second
-"enchanting" draws from about 50 different effects and levels given to you at a high cost and at the total mercy of RNG
-Story is non-existent just go kill this, go kill that, go kill this again. Which is fine but a lot of people want more.
-Game is a large map which is virtually empty / filled with repeating enemies and trees. Very little is worth exploring outside of the base towns and things, you might find a broken hut with a chest every second completely searched zone which might have some very mediocre rewards. And the odd 'boss' on the map to fight, but mostly its empty and dead.

It is nothing but a grind. The translation is really rough. you can cut down 2 trees and you need a new ax. the days are really , really short. you constantly have to sleep and eat. The entire game is a grind. It needs a LOT of work. I really wish I hadn't got it.
