Very fun concept, but the execution kind of lacks. Game is extremely repetitive and the upgrade tree is very unsatisfactory. You'll basically finish the game before you really get to use any of the interesting stuff. There's no endgame. The game is also locked at 60fps.

Would have been very nice to see the progression fleshed out a bit more to make it less tedious and more enjoyable.

the reason I put not recommended is because of a few things: you can't max out the upgrades in one run, the scan doesn't work on some plants that have been partially completed so you usually get stuck on 1%, they introduced fire in later stages but then scrapped it???. mud doesn't show up on scanner, the save system is a bit wack so even if it says it saved, you'll load it up and all your progress is gone. If you look at the map you get stuck in the menu and you're forced to restart the stage, i can go on but yeah..there's so many problems but if a patch is released that deals with the bugs then i'll reconsider suggesting this game
