The progress system is so bad if you buy ultimate collection or pallace edition they just give you cars for free. You dont have the feeling for progress in any race. There are just races for money and thats it. The controls are so stiff you either understeer or oversteer.
The graphics, the music fits the vibe, and the overall game vibe is good but poorly adaptated. Multiplayer races are fun cause they're pure chaos.

Overhated in my opinion. Just nfs heat with more difficult races (which adds fun for “competitive” players like me), a corny story and WAY more content. I like how escaping cops is actually based on using intuition rather than speed. I picked it up on sale for about 7 dollars so I may be biased, but it feels great and I love the burst nitrous feature. Overall an 8/10 game that runs smoothly and looks gorgeous on the lowest possible settings

We all know the NFS series has been slowly getting worse but this one definitely feels the worse by far. As someone that started with underground 2 and is now here. I'm not really sure what they're going for anymore. I got it for under 5$ and for that its fine. But don't get it for more than that. Story mode just feels weird this time around. They put so much emphasis on customizing your cars' looks but it costs a pretty penny and then you still have to pay to upgrade your car and keep other cars upgraded etc. I don't know how many other people have that issue but I don't bother changing looks because of it.

Overall its just another boring entry to the series. If it's on sale and you want an arcade racer, go for it. But don't get it full price. And as everyone else said the story and dialog is insanely corny
