1.0.17 - Demo Hotfix

This is another hotfix build for the demo!

This build tries to clarify the last research level in the demo, and introduce more flexibility in the experience.

Fixes / Changes
- Slow down intro rotation to reduce motion sickness
- Add 'pause to read' option, changing the default to false. See below
- Add clarity to the descriptions of Storage Foundation (Waste), Resource foundation (NANO)
- Add hint from the drone for Waste + Nano if you are still looking for it. These new prompts will get VO soon.

Pause To Read
Previously, when the hover panel/build/upgrade info was displayed it would pause as to not waste time of day, in an effort for you not to feel rushed as time ticks past. From feedback, this seems like a preference people prefer to not have enabled, so we're trying with the default to off. If you'd like that behaviour, turn it on in the settings menu.

Linux missing library

Hi, I'm trying to run the game from linux and it won't start. At closer inspection there seems to be a missing library: ./MossfieldOrigins ./MossfieldOrigins: error while loading shared libraries: libtsan.so.0: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory I cannot test with the steam runtimes 2.0 and 3.0, but this library seems to not be available in the 1.0 (or from the ubuntu wrapping around steam, and my distro provides /usr/lib/libtsan.so.2) Hope this helps you fixing it....

1.0.16 - Demo Hotfix

This is another hotfix build for the demo!

This build fixes a breaking bug that snuck in during our previous patch. Sorry for the inconvenience!

Fixes / Changes:

- Fix breaking bug where cursor stays stuck on the building you built
- Disable debug keys that can break the experience easily

1.0.15 - Demo Hotfix

This is another hotfix build for the demo!

This build fixes some issues surrounding the cursor + the camera following it (especially in gamepad mode).

Fixes / Changes:

- Draw the grid cursor as a tall beam when entering the fog, so you can still find it
- Fix grid cursor secretly moving around in the menu or when ui is open
- Fix grid cursor starting in an odd place, now starts the same place consistently
- Fix camera snapping back after moving the grid cursor (e.g when entering the fog)

Flickering black box

Hello I am getting large flickering black boxes randomly drawn over the screen... Can't figure out a pattern yet, but they seem to move around. Hard to get a screenshot coz they're flickering in and out... It's not all the time, and it's not enough to stop me from playing or anything, but very strange lol...

Is the Demo broken?

I can't do anything after building the first house. I open the build menu and the only area i can select is under the finished house. No matter where i press on the screen it always selects the house with the only option to deconstruct it. I relaunched the game with the same save, now the "Research" tab appeared at the top right, but i can't open it. I flashes white when i hover over it, but i can't press it. I tried to look for hotkeys, and just broke the game. I pressed "B" and recieved a letter from som...

Demo feedback

I love a little sustainability builder! I thought the balanced day was interesting too, and that people researched while having down time. It didn't feel like I was rushing them to get back to work. Thoughts while playing: - When I first opened the game the slow rotation of the background made me feel sick. That rotation is gone with the most recent update, so maybe people have already provided feedback. - The saturation on the orange is very high, making a bit difficult to see - Building labels could us...

A really cool riff on existing builders

Love the cozy vibe of this game, especially the graphics and the music. It feels satisfying to play, with a wee bit of challenge but not too stressful. My only criticism: the conversation between the 2 characters are not very interesting though. And the drawings of the characters look too much like Citizen Sleeper to me. I didn't feel like they contributed much to the game as it stands....
