is it a random event or do i need to trigger it? I sometimes see birds but no baloons

"Playing using family sharing" For some reason I am getting Birch planks while offline but my helper collects 0 Oak planks offline. I have two helpers one is doing the Oak planks the other the Birch but yet when i come back into the game I get only Birch planks...

The game starts up in a black screen and the game doesn't respond at all. What to do?

There should be more smelters. There only being one seems super unbalanced and makes the grind artificially long.

I picked up this game today and started playing it. Got my cooking to level 10 and bought a 2nd worker. However, this caused the game to not allow me to select any cooking pots. Any word on how to fix this?
