Stuck in the advanced tutorial (Bug Report)

i don't seem to be able to finish the tutorial as im locked behind one objective to build a study chair which i do but it never ticks ive tried building more/ moving dismantling all my existing chairs but im stumped

Exciting news! My newest game, Kill a Million Rats, is ready for release and will officially launch on 16 January 2025!

If you enjoyed Rogue AI Simulator, you’re going to love this one. Kill a Million Rats is a base-building roguelite strategy game set in a forest overrun by endless hordes of rats. Rebuild the Hidden Village, recruit allies, and defend the adorable animals of the forest while taking on waves of relentless enemies.

I’ve been making games solo since my first Flash game back in 2007, always striving to create something new and exciting with every release. This will be my 6th game on Steam, and I couldn’t have done it without your incredible support and feedback over the years.

To kickstart the new year on a positive note, a new patch (v1.1.4) has been uploaded!

- Fixed some early game/tutorial sequence bugs.
- Instant Text option now works properly.
- New sweat effect when using certain objects.

Hydro power working?

It miiiiight just be a display bug, but I built 2 hydro generators and both had no effect on power income. Definitely SEEMED like the display was correct, as I ran out of power very quickly, despite having a big water stockpile. Anybody else notice this?

the hacking changes

I tried the hacking mini game again last night and, to say the least, I find it frustrating. The whole thing can easily get out of hand. In fact, I got to the maximum fear almost right away. Could it be possible to make it be toggled instead?
