We’re super excited to welcome new Pointians to our little County, as this year Two Point Campus has joined the fun in this year’s Jingle Jam Games Collection. If you’re unfamiliar, this is a bundle of games donated by publishers and developers to raise money for 8 awesome charities.

Jingle Jam is an annual fundraising event to help make the world a better place for children and young people. And if you give £35 or more you'll get the Games Collection!

You’ll find a small hoard of Doncon items now in-game to celebrate Jingle Jam’s roots at the Yogscast. The chair, statue, temple guardian, poster and rug can be unlocked using Kudosh.

The Private Pets bundle is live now for all players! Animals are strictly prohibited on campus (just like all the other fun stuff). But if you teach your students anything, it should be a healthy disdain for authority, and who better to break the rules with, and for, than a fluffy little chum?

Unlike previous Two Point games where you focused on one spot, this time you can advance your career across multiple Acts, revisiting each exciting location with new developments, thrilling discoveries, and charming decor as your campaign unfolds.

The design and management of your expanding museum is in your hands! Coordinate a team of partially trained Experts who’ll embark on Expeditions to hunt for rare and mostly well-preserved artefacts. With varied survey locations to choose from, you’re set to kick-start a museum career unique to you. When (and let’s hope not if) your Experts return from their adventure, proudly display their fantastic finds in your museum.

But your responsibilities don’t end there; it’s super important your Exhibits are kept in tip-top condition! While some Experts are gallivanting the globe, you’ll be busy managing the team back home to ensure everything runs smoothly.

If watching your beloved carnivorous Chomper plant isn’t enough excitement, there are pesky thieves to be on the lookout for, so it might be worthwhile investing in some security measures. And let's not forget about the more frequent little visitors-children! They can be pretty inquisitive so sometimes they end up touching or messing with the displays, so having plenty of guards around to watch over your prized collection, alongside staff to maintain things, is a smart move.

As the Curator, the direction your growing museum takes is entirely in your hands! Will your experts trudge begrudgingly through Tar Pits to piece together a Unihornus skeleton, brave the chilly winter wilderness for new frozen finds, or search dense thickets for terrific botanical samples? You’ll choose where the next adventure leads you.

Get creative to design your museum layout your way! You have decorative freedom, so with your next exhibit in mind, you’ll consider the flow of the museum to build the best guest experience possible. Have fun decorating to form snazzy thematic areas, creating internal walls that guide your guests throughout their visit.

Get creative with colour and carpet as you lovingly arrange each prehistoric fern, potentially melting iceman, and skeletal dinosaur wherever you think they’ll shine.

Once you’ve established the perfect atmosphere, it’s time to organise guided tours with custom routes led by one of your charismatic Experts. Tours are just the thing to elevate your guests' experience. To keep everyone enthused on the journey, showcase exhibits buzzing with excitement - the ones that boast the highest quality, information and decoration. Remember to maintain that all-important cohesion, and be mindful not to let tours go on too long; otherwise, your guests might leave feeling tired.

Whilst the various types of guests who frequent your museum have different interests, they do have some things in common… they expect the place to be kept clean, have plenty of refreshments, ample toilets, and a gift shop filled with goodies. And, of course, they need to be dazzled with knowledge of your Exhibits, which best be kept well-maintained…

Two Point County will bring a variety of guests to your museum, and they all hope to discover their new favourite exhibit. From dino fanatics and botany buffs to haunted horror seekers, you’ll need to cater to their personal preferences to meet their needs. By exceeding their expectations, you can keep them engaged, leading to longer visits, increased donations, and glowing reviews!

The Ghost Flusterer was rescued from Orb HQ, congratulations Pointians! It joined both the Chilly Plant and Unihornus Skull as items recovered from the thieves.

The final mystery that remains, however, is why? What motivated the thefts in the first place?

All will be revealed to County Pass members shortly.

Keen to bring justice and find the final missing archaeology discovery, Two Point Officials prepared to break into the Orb Foundations' HQs.

As you'd expect, they have pretty hefty security measures in place, and they were using the same strange language as seen in their secret note.

Pointians worked together to crack swiftly through these high-security doors and alarms, showing proper team work under pressure. Perhaps a reflection of HQ management's ego, all the passwords were Orb-related...

Wiggy needed your help again...

CCTV footage of the crime scene was discovered, which would help identify who the Thieves Guild really were. The issue is, they rewound the tape a little too hastily and it broke the footage...

One hundred pieces of the CCTV footage went to Pointians across Two Point channels, who worked diligently to piece things together.

As the puzzle became whole again, a snippet of the CCTV was enhanced, revealing a secret handshake between two thieves. The community expertly figured out that this was "perfect shape and perfect solution"

Congratulations, Pointians!

Working alongside County Officials, Wiggy is delighted to deliver the perfectly spiffing piece of news (as he would say) - that you’ve cracked it!

After checking your decoding calculations, the note reveals a mysterious message:

GOONS, MEET BACK AT THE LAGOON

Quick to get to the bottom of things and keen to clear up his reputation, Wiggy sent out a search party by chopper over the weekend, to survey nearby lagoons. With some pointers from experts in Discord, his team swept over the lagoon in Herbaceous Gardens, keen to find the missing artefact before it was too late.
Greetings from the Herbaceous LagoonHot on the tails of the meddling thieves, they sadly fled as soon as they heard the chopper approaching. But, good news everyone! The rare discovery was recovered, and the team are on their way home with a crate in tow. Expect a closer look at it tomorrow.

This isn’t the end of this tale, as the meddling guild of thieves is still at large after serial heists across the County. There’s some good news at least, County Officials have recovered CCTV footage from the scene of one of the thefts. They were overzealous in rewinding the tape though, and the whole thing is a little broken up…

Our friend Wiggy Silverbottom has found himself in a rather sticky situation, this time not involving millions of hidden priceless collectable chocolate eggs.

As you know, our beloved intrepid explorer is always on the lookout for his next adventure. So a few months ago, he assembled a team of newly graduated (so-called) experts in his field to embark on a top-secret and extremely important mission. There they made a remarkable discovery…

Unfortunately, there was a slight hiccup before this discovery reached its destination… the whole thing went missing! This caused quite a stir, as you’d imagine.

Although Wiggy did find that old Unihornus Skull in the back of his sixth garage, he is absolutely certain that this recent find was en route to secure County offices. Distressed and unsure of what to do, Wiggy is turning to you for help again, this time in tracking down this precious find.

If Wiggy is unable to locate the artefact, he fears his global reputation may forever be in tatters. This could see the end of his career as a renowned explorer, meaning the brightest archaeology graduates in the County may never have the chance to work on exciting projects.

To make matters worse, there’s somewhat of a crisis at hand, as it seems this predicament isn’t unique to Wiggy. A pattern is emerging, as artefacts have gone walkabouts all over the County. It’s up to you, Pointans, to solve the mystery! Can you lend a hand to uncover the truth behind these serial heists?

The only lead so far is this weird note discovered where the rare discovery was last seen…

It’s time someone tested you for a change! Dust off your archaeology tools ready to tackle the latest Campus Challenge, Pebberley Puzzler. An ancient quizmaster awaits, having emerged from their slumber with a mind-full of mysterious questions ready and waiting for you to solve.

The legendary Pebberley Puzzler has been quizzing folks for much longer than any County educator, longer than anyone can remember in fact. Every hundred years or so, they wake up with a new set of tricky questions for whoever happens to be alive, and this time, it’s your turn!

As you’d imagine, they like to stick to tradition, and in the world of academia, that means multiple choice. Make your selection wisely and think carefully before answering, or you may end up on the wrong side of mystery.

The County’s beloved eccentric billionaire, Mr Wigbert Percival Silverbottom, has an exciting opportunity for all of you! With absolutely no personal motivations involved, he’s hosting a donation drive among his close circle of wealthy friends. Are you ready to start digging?

If you can quickly tackle this so-called ‘Puzzler’ and promptly train the next generation of archaeologists, Wiggy and friends have promised generous donations to the County’s educational coffers. At least, that’s what Wiggy’s butler, Giles, mentioned in his correspondence.

Speed is key, and we are assured that this urgency has nothing to do with any alleged workplace shortages at Mr Silverbottom’s dig sites. So, to add a, um, fun twist to make this donation drive a challenge, Wiggy’s promised a $10,000 donation for every gold medal, with silver and bronze earning $5,000 and $2,000 respectively.

To offset some budgetary shortfalls this academic year, the County needs 10 MILLION dollars ASAP. Mr Silverbottom is very busy, and we may only have his attention for the next week or so (giving Giles a well-earned break in our opinion). So, are you up for the challenge?

- Fixed issue where Mac builds were putting saves in a different location.

For anyone who followed the work around, you will need to copy your saves back from the temporary folder back in to the original folder.

We've got another patch for you today, bringing an exciting quality-of-life change that's been heavily requested, alongside troublesome bug fixes and a load of optimisations.

As you may have noticed, we've been releasing monthly item packs for free for all players, so make sure to check those out too (:

• Community request: players can now dismiss the Challenge Reward popup to view their campus after completing a challenge
  
• Prepatch for future new item releases.

• Fixed an issue where the gamepad cursor can offset when adjusting filters in Student or Staff menu.
  
• Fixed issue where Plot 6, 10, and 15 are not able to have expulsion ceremonies on sandbox mode.
  
• Fixed issue where Lecture theatres ignored permissions during summer.

• Enabled render jobs - moves lots of render work off the main thread.
  
• Enabled GPU skinning - moves more render work to the GPU.
  
• Put together, render jobs and GPU skinning save 10-20% of frame time (so roughly a 10-25% boost in FPS).
  
• Tweaks to many items to more consistently LOD them out when small on-screen.
  
• Tweaks to many VFX to remove needless use of transparency, which reduces time spent rendering.
  
• Fix wall shader not batching well with others - results in faster rendering of walls.
  
• Huge pass over texture sizes and settings - lower memory usage on all platforms, but particularly Switch and PS4, which should make them much more stable.
  
• Fixes to room templates to prevent hanging when opening the templates menu.

Hey Pointians, we need your help! As expert Campus Administrators, you’ll take on some “creative” budgetary decisions in our latest challenge mode.

At Destitute Institute, you’ll develop a cash-strapped university from an abandoned plot, creating a prospectus-perfect campus for your cohort.

We’re not quite sure how the County keeps ending up in these tricky scenarios, and not to point fingers, but it might be down to the County’s Education Minister! It turns out Tarquin Foxbridge (allegedly) hates doing the budget. To be fair to him, there’s a lot on his plate, so you can see why someone might make a mistake right? This, however, is a bad one.

There’s a campus that’s been allocated… nothing at all.

So, make things work without any starting funds, and prove that Tarquin’s budget wasn’t “wrong”, just innovative. To make do(ugh), thankfully, the previous tenants didn’t do a very good job at clearing up after themselves. Have a poke around the place and see if you can sell some of their old construction junk!

From there, the budgeting gymnastics is down to you and your expertise. Maybe the Orb Foundation could lend a hand, or there’s always the opportunity of wrangling some funds from a course or two. We’re confident we’ve got the right administrator for the job, so turn this dusty patch of land into the latest student experience dream, by transforming it into a Level 10 Campus! To grab the Gold you’ll first need to strategise, as Tarquin is strapped for time (as well as cash!), so make sure to get your priorities in order before you start allocating your limited cash.


This month marks the spooky anniversary of our School Spirits DLC for Two Point Campus! To celebrate, why not jazz up your campus builds with a tribute to nighttime’s favourite ne’er-do-well? The Jacques O’Phantom statue is a surefire way to introduce an eery chill to the place.
