Not only has this game managed to improve my typing speed but its also genuinely unnerving, I didn't think typing peoples addresses would give me so much anxiety but here we are. Love the visuals and the detail each piece of mail has. The story goes way deeper than i expected, even after 3 playthroughs there's still a lot to uncover.

My fingers are cracking non-stop after playing this.

Diabolical of the devs to cause the players to be isolated in game and on steam (lost of connection), I see you. If you use different names for each playthrough, you also get to see names of the previous protaganist in some of the letters which I think was a nice touch.

i have played so many indie horror games that they all practically blur together, but the atmosphere and building dread in this game are absolutely standout. the soundtrack, sound design, i was totally captivated.
can't wait to see other endings.

Dead letter mail, also known as undeliverable mail, is a real world problem where mail arrives at the post office but can't be delivered to its destination or returned to sender. This story is coincidentally about a young adult trying to strike out on their own, leaving their home town (and family) for the big city. It's not the most subtle of storytelling but that's not what's important: what makes this game great is how much you can mess with it and how much it messes with you. Something as simple as data entry is turned into a nerve-wracking psychological horror story where it's hard to tell not only what's real, but what's even happening to your character and the game itself at times.

Without getting into spoilers, I've gotten three of the six possible endings and I'm not sure how to unlock more (without more intentional fail states) because of the very limited knowledge base of the game. However, I really enjoyed the time I spent with it and I'm looking forward to digging into this again in the future for more ending attempts. It's a bit expensive for its duration, clocking in at two hour for my longest run, but there's really nothing else out there like it right now. Recommended for anyone looking for a unique horror experience; there's no jump scares or closet monsters (as far as I found), so you don't have to worry about cheap "loud = scary" or boogeymen chase sequences like other indie horror games.

Really interesting horror typing game experiment. Great atmosphere, and it uses the atmosphere well. Some creepy flashes of stuff but no real jumpscares. Relatively short, but multiple endings. Definitely worth the cost of admission for the price - though I will say you might have trouble if you don't have the best eyesight or can't see the color yellow.

There are accessibility options to reduce cursive lettering if you never learned how to read that.

The game in itself has delivered a type of atmosphere that all horror games from now on should try to replicate. The concept of a typical job goes awry made have been done before many times but this game has delivered as sense isolated dread each time a new day comes. I love the mails that are needed to get typed up ranging from quirky and cute to outright depressing or brutal. In a self-conscious POV it really drives home the fear of the new and the unknown (With a bit of being introverted mixed in). From the ending I got, I felt the entire time that I had control, then losing it, then being lied to thinking I had control in the first place. A great game to play and feel anxious like crazy.

Unbelievably well crafted. Probably the most deeply unsettling and unique experience I've had from a game in quite some time. If you've ever felt like the broad comparisons of the Backrooms to House of Leaves left something to be desired, then this is the game for you. This game made me feel physically upset the first time I played it, and I'm not even 100% sure what happened. It's that perfect blend of schizophrenic surrealism and all-encompassing dread that made HoL so affecting. 10/♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ - this is art.

This game hit home for me in so many specific and piercing ways, as someone who spent several months in almost the exact same situation depicted and explored, and deeply overwhelmed me, both with sheer terror and dread, as well as with a hollowness that is hard to describe. I still need to process the experience of my first playthrough before I come back and see what other possibilities I can explore, but this has already cemented itself as one of my favorite horror game experiences in recent memory.

I really liked this game. It was weird to be locked into your work so much that the horror almost seemed sealed away in the back of your mind as you typed away. Listen staring-through-the-window-shadow person, let me just hit my quota for the day.

Took just under two hours to complete. There are multiple endings and different stats tracked. I'm not sure how the different endings are achieved (I'm assuming the stats allude to something) but I may do another play through soon.

Interesting little game, though honestly, I feel like the dark sections of the game are just a bit too dark. If your character is carrying a flashlight, the area in front of you might not be fully lit, but it certainly shouldn't be completely black.

Fair warning, so far as I can tell, this game muses a lot on the topic of death and themes of grief and suffering.
