HTC Vive Support?

I know this Headset is kinda being left behind, I tried the Playtest a little bit ago and I believe my particular controllers the HTC Vive Wands weren't supported will we get HTC Vive Wands support or likely not? thank you in advance :) I need to upgrade to a newer headset but man they are not cheap haha...
