One of the most gripping stories I've ever played through. I really loved exploring the setting of 17th century New England and the voice acting was really very good. The stories were excellent and usually when I play a game that has great story, they sacrifice on the rest of the game---not this one. This is one I will ACTUALLY play again simply because the choices you make can completely change a lot of the game experience. I 100% cried like a baby at the end of my first play-through. My only gripe is no new game plus option here. all in all this is an 8.5/10 game for me. Really solid and I can't wait for more like this.

I thoroughly enjoyed this game. Engaging, great puzzles lots of combat options and ways to play. Great but sad story that keeps you engaged. Long playtime especially if you want to complete everything. Lots of difficulty levels for both great and not so great players. Well worth the money.

It's a pretty solid game in my opinion. After too many titles that suffered from various forms of performance issues, this has been solid so far. No stuttering or massive frame drops to report. I am also pleased to say that I don't notice any glaring pop in (looking at you Indiana Jones) or noticeable artifacts on my setup. That said, I am playing on a 4090 with settings maxed out at 4K. It seems to stay consistent at around 140fps from what I have observed so far. The story is unique and seems to be what brings me back and makes me want to move it forward.

The gameplay itself is not really my favorite part of the experience. It's extremely linear in the path you must take, the locations that you must climb or descend, and the obstacles you must clear to take the next action. Every climb or decent sized drop requires button presses which present more like a scripted cut scene than an organic movement. There is a ton of "you must do this to allow you to do that" type gameplay if you follow me. The movement takes some getting used to as it feels a bit clunky mechanically speaking.

But, I do look forward to playing it when I'm not and that is really my benchmark for what I consider to be a game I can recommend. Again, good job by the devs on the PC performance side. I don't need photorealistic graphics. What I do need are graphics that don't pull me out of the game with stutters, distractions, and glaring issues. This game delivers on that front and does give a unique story that gives you some choices that matter.
