Just started playing this and I noticed that in full screen it took forever to get past the splash screens, particularly the colorful one with the Krellan stabbing the planet. I thought maybe this could be down to the fact that the game was installed on my D: drive and not my C: drive. So I went ahead and reinstalled, but in a new Steam Library on C:\. Started it up, no long wait. I assume it was because of the game now being on the C: drive but thought hmm- ...could it be because I temporarily disabled ...

How do I configure it to get near full screen? On first booting the game I picked the 1440x1080 option but it's just too small. Not sure how to "turn back the clock" and pick another resolution but I didn't see a full screen option in that initial dialogue (maybe I'm blind). Is there a way to get that dialog back without uninstalling the game and losing my character? At first I tried modifying the SF2-1080.conf file and setting it to fullscreen= true and fulldouble=true but that made the game run like cra...

In other words, can they be recovered and used again, or should I just detonate them or leave them wherever they ended up?

Hi, I got as far as getting to the first planet, then on the way back to the Starfort at some point the game doesn't seem to accept any keyboard inputs. Yes, I've made sure I'm not paused via the backspace key. I tried entering Ctrl-T for the Command menu, Ctrl X to quit even, and it wouldn't take that either, so I had to click on the x in the DOSBox window. I was last stuck in the Bridge display. Anyone else seen this?...

I want to get more shock troops and crew to be able to capture and deliver more ships in one trip. But when a transfer additional 150 shock troops to my ship (getting message "Too many troops - 300 max") , they immediately go back to the starfort right after log massage "Resupply & repairs compete. Ready to undock." Is it possible to get more troops and crew from starforts?...
