The player's creatures are no longer able to drink water while swimming.
The player's aquatic creatures are no longer able to drink water.
Eat Insect and Kill Insect tasks are no longer gained after growing to the sub-adult growth stage if your creature is tiny-sized.
Now the night vision light isn't as intense for smaller creatures.
Camera Near clipping plane has been set to 0.05, half of its previous value, this should help not clip through the ground in more cases (but not sometimes for very small creatures at certain camera angles).
The "Heavy Fog" and "Heavy Sandstorm" weather has been removed as it was extremely difficult to see through.
The ground tessellation effect has been reduced to one-fourth of its previous value, which should help smaller creatures not be hidden so much by the ground tessellation.

Carcasses that spawn at nests no longer give 50x accelerated growth when eaten.
Fish, arganodus, chinlea, devonion lungfish, and mawsonia no longer give extremely high amounts of accelerated growth when eaten.
If your creature's accelerated growth is above 2x from the above oversights, it will be set to 2x, which is the intended maximum.
There is now a 10 minute grace-period for carcasses before they will start becoming toxic.
Now after reaching 1 toxicity a carcass will turn into a pile of rotting meat. This takes 60 minutes for new carcasses.
Rotting meat is green in color.
Rotting meat is extremely toxic and should not be eaten.
After 60 minutes, a pile of rotting meat will be destroyed.
You now gain 2 minutes of accelerated growth per bite instead of 1 minute per bite.
Now, if the player is out of range of the target they were previously attacking they will no longer be able to deal damage to them.
Now, if the player is not facing the target they were previously attacking they will no longer be able to deal damage to them.
Aquatic nests are now rendering correctly.
The player is once again able to gain experience points and evolution points from eating.

I've decided on a new base growth rate approach and also a new and simplified version of the accelerated growth buff. This should simplify the growth system but still keep some of its previous depth.

No longer is growth increased if you're sitting or sleeping. So you shouldn't feel pressured into doing nothing to grow faster. This includes the sunstone bonus growth mechanic.

The bonus growth from the action of eating has been removed, and moved all eating growth bonuses into the accelerated growth buff.

Sunstones now just give you a flat 2x passive growth rate boost being near them. You no longer need to get the stacks maximized for optimum growth.

You can still grow faster by doing some tasks that reward you with Growth %.

You do not grow if you are starving.

Accelerated Growth buff stacks up to a max of 60 minutes.
Each bite of food will increase the stack count up to a maximum of 1 minute.

Tier 1 Food : 1.1x Growth for 1 minute per bite.
Tier 2 Food : 1.2x Growth for 1 minute per bite.
Tier 3 Food : 1.4x Growth for 1 minute per bite.
Tier 4 Food : 1.6x Growth for 1 minute per bite.
Tier 5 Food : 1.8x Growth for 1 minute per bite.
Tier 6 Food : 2x Growth for 1 minute per bite.

The base passive growth rate of creatures has been normalized and each size category of creature has a different growth rate.
To increase the rate of your growth you need to gain the Accelerated Growth buff.
You can double your passive growth rate by being near to sunstones.

11.25 hours, to Adult
4.5 hours, to Sub-Adult

5.625 hours, to Adult
2.5 hours, to Sub-Adult
1.25 hours, to Juvenile

(8 hours base to grow a small creature)
4.5 hours, to Adult
2 hours , to Sub-Adult
1 hours, to Juvenile

(6 hours base to grow a tiny creature)
3.375 hours, to Adult

200+ hours later, here are my thoughts ...

PLEASE KNOW THAT THIS IS MY OPINION - You have yours, I have mine, Exhibyte has his, so lets keep it clean and remember this! I honestly don't believe that Exhibyte knows the gem that he has or could have... the game could potentially be a front runner, imo. However, some things has to change for that to happen. This game has a massive selection of dino's, which is amazing! After 200+ hours, I struggle to find a reason to play and there is so many dino's that I haven't even tried yet .... and here's wh...

game is heavy on ram and gpu tho with an intel 770 arc i do play with lock 60 fps at high ofc it deeps below that allot , graphics are kinda good and it gets lots of other dinno game mechanics it does need some more optimaization for sure and polish around the edges but developer/s are active and hear the people ideas thats already the basis of a good game
