This game just clicked for me, absolute hidden gem.

Definitely worth playing. Solid game.
Do not play easy unless its like your first strategy game or something. Hard and above.

Pros:

Nice story, nice dialogues, interesting protagonist and side kick, nice keep all companion game-play with nice interactions between them, nice spells, 3 interesting trees to choose for your character, nice game+ mode that makes you want to play the game again, nice visit hometown anywhere game-play, nice cheap character skill reset.
Generally game makes you want to progress and get more powerful.

Cons:

Few features missing (nice to haves): mouse pointer camera scrolling at screen edges (forces you to use keyboard just for that), more detailed spell descriptions, more impact-full spells,

Some things that could be better: The awkward map travelling sequence (should be one button), normal game difficulty is way to easy (easy should be very easy, hard should be normal etc), could have more companion build option, money and resources are almost insignificant and not well thought, chest rewards become insignificant very quickly in the game, marketplace not to useful,

You do get the feeling that the devs were not really experienced making those types of games but the effort is really solid and the game is enjoyable.
