I've played Battle For Bikini Bottom up to SpongeBob's Dream and Kelp Forest where the spike cubes and springy leaves kept tripping me up. Am I going to miss anything story wise if I start playing The Cosmic Shake without finishing Battle for Bikini Bottom? Do the games reference each other? Thanks....

After seeing a cut scene at the end of the island of Jelly Glove World, I entered an arena and fought some enemies. Then I saved the game and left it to play another time. When I reopened it, I was transported back to the beginning of Jelly Glove World, and when I got to the end of the island again where I would enter the arena, it won't trigger the cut scene anymore.
