Just a quick note to not forget about age and decay. Aging something means outside forces changing the object. Decay is something falling apart. So for example - a chair ages AND decays. The apparent aging would be cobwebs, dust, dust bunnies, little invaluable items left on the chair, various secretions left on the chair, tears, rips, loss of the filling, and so forth.
