I dunno man. It's got a lot of love put into it but I just didn't have fun. Abilities go from feeling great to oh. ok. Being locked to 4 main abilities per character never really feels great as the whole "well you'll switch or ascend the character" doesn't work here. I don't want to level multiple characters.
Bosses are... ok. There's some cool stuff but you feel disconnected from the fights.
Loot is ok but you're looking to use whatever does the most dps off a charge bar and a lot of alt weapons feel mediocre at best.
Open world doesnt work here. No where I went felt great to explore, enemies discovered were just kinda fodder or major heavy hitters.
A lot of the always online elements create a lot of ghost mechanics that doesnt have a massive reason to exist and thats because this was a always online game.

This game went through a trip and I really commend the devs for all their work. This felt a lot more like a bunch of ideas than a full fledged product tho.

There is a good game here marred by horrifically bad optimization. :(

I'm not sure what the past looked like for this game considering it had negative reviews, but the current state of this game is fantastic. My GF and I have been addicted to it for weeks. Definitely recommend buying this! Buy it!!!!!
