Looks like an exciting faced paced action game with a decent blend of mechanics. That said, visually it feels pretty dated. I hope some better textures and smoother lines are in the works for release given such.

I stopped at the second combat tutorial. Since the power-up consumes over time instead of per strike it gets a bit tedious to charge up, do a "knock up" with a power-up plus hard strike and further combos. That's moves you do a lot during the 2nd combat and it takes a lot of fun out of the pacing of the melee combat. What is slightly harder is the fact that after some hits your character holsters the weapon so you need to stand still (cannot do that in all states) and unsheathe the weapon again....

Cant get past two big enemies with blue shields :(
