I am Xbox controller user. I hold button D-pad to open ring menu, then select menu item by stick , finally release D-pad to decide selecting. However, I can't understand fully how to select ring menu items by stick . The stick is already tilted down so the ship moves in the direction the stick is tilted immediately after I release D-pad button even though I don't want to. Am I doing something wrong?...

Since 2020 I'm checking the progress periodically (every few months) to see if this feature has been implemented. I know that I'm not the only one interested in offline support. Any change it gets implemented by the end of 2024 ? The "always online" requirement is the only thing keeping me from purchasing the game. Thanks !...
