Can anyone relate? Accidentally playing New Babe+

I thought this game was really hard and thats how I approached it. I found a side passage in one screen and thought it was a secret place. I wondered a bit as I needed to jump more than expected to reach "the secret" but I went on. And it went on, and on and on, ... I forgot, that it was even a side passage and it took time and time... I am currently at like 50 hrs of playtime. 70k Jumps and about 7k falls. I did not beat the game yet. I thought to myself that maybe I am just bad at it. Normal playtrough...

More Pain for a tortured soul

So i finally got to the top of New babe+ with the snake ring on the whole way.... i was so excited to see that achievement absolute will+ pop. Then it didn't..... I think maybe because i accidentally activated giant boots at one point of the journey then turned them back off it must have invalidated the run... despite not un-equipping the ring even once.... It even showed me in the end stats after the level was over that snake ring was used and still no achievement. Curse you to the pits of hell game. Now ...

I bought this game after it got popular with the streamers, i kept my expectations somewhat low. Initially I refunded it after like 1 hr, then I bought it again. The 2nd time around damn this game started to get hella addicting and hella fun, i practically nolifed on it for like 4 days straight from morning till night. It turned into one big group activity on the discord server i'm in, playing with a multiplayer mod while everyone streamed and watched was fun.

I sucked at this game extremly badly, took me 46k jumps to beat it the first time around. At times i felt despair and started to think it's impossible, but overcoming each challenge was fun.

My adventure with jump King doesn't end here, i plan to start a new game and try to improve my time, i also intend to beat all the dlcs.

Been a while since I had such a blast, i cant reccomend this game enough for people seeking a fun challenging game.

Achievement not popping

i just beat the new babe+ with the giant boots and my achievement didn't pop. so I played it very annoyed with the giant boots AGAIN and I beat it with the boots AND IT STILL DID POP. I have no idea what's going on and I am very annoyed cause beating new babe+ with the boots is not easy and I feel like i just wasted my time. Has this been happening to anyone else or is it just me?...

Can someone tell me why is the worst design flaw of the last official map keep getting replicated as a most beloved feature? Why to bend over backwards to create a layout that ensures as long fall as possible on every miss-step? For me the interesting part of gameplay comes from figuring out new areas, not from playing through boring sections that are being topped with something that ensures you to fall thought that entire section so you can keep replaing it.
